DUI/RISK REDUCTION

The DUI/Risk Reduction course has been APPROVED to be taken virtually by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. Virtual is not the same as on-line. There is a live instructor.

Attending virtually you must have a webcam and microphone, be on-time in attendance on camera for the entire duration. You must be stationary like at a desk paying full attention, dressed appropriately, alert and actively participating to receive certificate. 

Course Fee: $360.00 (Set by the State)

The DUI/Risk Reduction course consists of two (2) components: The NEEDs Survey (Assessment) and the DUI/Risk Reduction (Intervention) 20 hour course.

The NEEDs Survey (Assessment) ($100.00)

  • A 143 questionnaire about you and your lifestyle (approx 30 minutes to complete)
  • Fee of $100 is due at the time of taking the NEEDs survey (Assessment)
  • Assessment MUST be completed PRIOR TO CLASS at the same location the class is being provided.
  • The Assessment can be done in person at either our Woodstock or Jasper location or via your phone. To take via your phone, call our office to set-up your GARRP (Georgia Risk Reduction Program) account where you will be able to sign your paperwork and take the Assessment. You will need to be stationary and have your driver’s license number available. Takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Woodstock Location 770-928-3679: Assessments – Monday thru Friday between 9:30 am and 11:30 am or 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm for that weeks or upcoming course; other times available by appointment.

Jasper Location 706-692-1632: Assessments - Tuesdays or Thursdays between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm or 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm for that weeks or upcoming course.

The Assessment is not the Drug and Alcohol Evaluation that may be needed for probation, court or license reinstatement. Read more about Drug and Alcohol Evaluations and how to schedule.

DUI/Risk Reduction Class and Workbook ($260.00)

The DUI/Risk Reduction is a 20 hour course, "Prime for Life" curriculum, generally taught in two and a half days - Friday evening 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.

  • The DUI/Risk Reduction class fee of $260 is due either at the time of NEEDs survey (Assessment) or before class starts
  • MUST attend all sessions in sequence as scheduled
  • Official Certificate of Completion given at the end of class if taken in person or e-mailed the following business day if taken virtually.
